Why are the top row keys on my Macbook Pro slowly malfunctioning?
Ok this is a tricky one.
My brightness, volume, num lock and the rest don't work and now my "nine" button doesn't work. BUT!
when i login to a different account on my comp. everything works fine,
so what did i do on this account to deactivate those buttons?
because as i said it works perfectly on any other acount on the same computer.
I'm no expert, but you might try system preferences -- keyboard/mouse -- keyboard-- see if the "use all f1 keys as standard function keys" has been selected. Just a guess.
