Hiya Robert P, Yes, you can upgrade the Inspiron 9300 display panel to WUXGA, here is how: 1) Get your hands on the panel and inverter you will be replacing. Other options included the NVidia GeForce 7800 GTX - 256Mb and the GeForce 5600 - 256Mb, either of which would be more efficient. Finally there are cost considerations. A new WUXGA panel with inverter starts around $ 290 which is not bad if you are doing the upgrade yourself.
